✊The protests against Tesla are an important example in the fight for water justice in Germany. Starting with the Grünheide citizens‘ initiative to form a joint alliance called “Tesla den Hahn abdrehen” (Turn off Tesla’s tap) with a variety of protests, including a forest occupation and a climate camp with actions.
💧On World Water Day, we will cycle from Erkner at 11.30 am, stop at Tesla, and then ride into the forest in front of the factory. Along the way, there will be speeches and opportunities to talk with activists.
🌲At 1 pm, there will be a walk in the forest with the Grünheide citizens‘ initiative.
🍰Coffee, cake, and snacks will be provided during the forest walk.
🚲Afterwards, the bike tour will return to Erkner.
✊The fight continues. Now there are plans for a battery factory in the middle of a drinking water protection area, with 72 million in subsidies from the state of Berlin, but the only anti-discrimination office is being cut. Our bike tour will pass by the new factory building!
