✊On Monday, we, the alliance Tesla den Hahn Abdrehen, once again protested against the contract signed between Tesla and the Strausberg-Erkner Water Board (WSE). We shouted powerful slogans and hung up banners.
☝️Together we went to the citizens‘ question time at the meeting to take the protest to the hearing.
❌In the non-public part of the meeting, the members of the WSE decided that the contract that had already been signed would apply – and would not be called into question by the comments and wishes expressed by Tesla in a letter accompanying the contract.
❗️We support the fact that Tesla’s unilateral comments were not included. However, we continue to condemn the conclusion of the contract and will critically monitor the next steps. Because: water is the basis of life and not for the profits of corporations.
