He did it in the USA, and now he’s trying to do it in Europe too: Elon Musk – the richest man in the world – is using his billions to destroy democracies and bring right-wing extremists to power. We oppose this! We call on you to join the global #TeslaTakedown protest against Tesla CEO Elon Musk. #TeslaTakedown is a decentralized movement that has spread to hundreds of cities worldwide in just a few weeks.
In the US, Musk and his team are slashing vital social programs, attacking unions and creating inhumane working conditions. His gigafactories flout environmental regulations, even though they claim to be saving the planet. He is trying to attack democracy worldwide: In Italy, the UK but also in Germany, Musk spreads fake news on X (formerly Twitter) and specifically supports right-wing parties. Before the German parliamentary elections, he called on people to vote for the far-right AfD and even spoke at one of their campaign events. Elon Musk and his allies are enemies of an open and just society!
As #TelsaTakedown, we are calling for resistance against Tesla. Be loud in front of the stores and showrooms! Together we can bring down Musk’s empire!
Elon Musk’s wealth and power – including his debt to buy Twitter – is based on his ownership of Tesla stock. But Tesla stock is unstable and massively overvalued.
Musk keeps the share price artificially high by making unrealistic promises that Tesla never fulfills. However, the protests in the USA are already having an effect. Tesla’s share price has fallen massively, Musk’s empire is tottering and with it his political influence. We can bring him down.
Join the protests outside Tesla stores and showrooms in Germany on April 5 as part of the Global Day of Action. We are fighting for a future where billionaires can’t buy elections and destroy our freedom.
Together we can stop Musk and his allies‘ attack on democracy and the open society. We are sending a clear message: against billionaire rule and against fascism.
