October 12, 12 – 4 p.m., Grünheide festival meadow
The majority of people in Grünheide voted against the expansion of the Tesla plant at the beginning of the year. However, the local council ignored this vote and nevertheless decided in favor of a slightly modified development plan 60 in May. No wonder, because politicians at state and federal level are also courting Elon Musk instead of protecting our livelihood, our water. That is a scandal!
Stop the expansion – now more than ever!
Tesla has announced that it will not be pursuing the expansion of the factory for the time being. This shows that protest works! But the fight is far from over. The state of Brandenburg must now reconsider the environmental permit for the existing factory, and the Finance Committee must stop the sale of further land immediately to prevent the destruction of the forest.
Come to the water festival in Grünheide!
We invite everyone from Grünheide and the surrounding area to come to the festival meadow on Saturday. Share your worries, your anger, you are not alone! Together with experts, we want to discuss how the expansion can be stopped once and for all. We will not be discouraged and will continue to fight for water and forests!
Celebrate water justice!
The alliance “Tesla den Hahn abdrehen” was founded a year ago and organized the first water festival in autumn 2023. Since then, the protest has grown and we want to celebrate this together. There will be a colorful program for children and adults, plus food and plenty of opportunities to get information and network.
